Groot provides curbside service, and customers have the choice of either a 65 or 95-gallon cart. Each week, customers can place their cart, plus unlimited 35-gallon tied bags or personal containers (under 70 pounds), at the curb for collection.

Complete Guide for all Special Pickup Services
Groot will provide weekly yard waste collection for all single family residents from April 1st through November 30th each year. Unlimited Kraft paper yard bags or personal 35-gallon containers (under 50 pounds) will be collected curbside—stickers are required for each container. When you place your container, make sure the sticker faces the curb. Containers and bags without stickers will not be emptied or collected. Do not place yard waste in plastic bags. You may also contact Groot to request a yard‑waste container decal to help easily distinguish it from your other refuse containers.
Each week, each residence may place up to one (1) bulky item (i.e. sofa, chair, table, etc.) out for collection at no extra charge. Bulky items will be collected on regularly scheduled collection days.
Each appliance requires an extra fee, and you’ll need to schedule pick‑up 24 hours in advance. Please contact our office for more details.
Two rolls of carpet, two–35 gallon containers, or the equivalent, is included in your service. Anything in addition will incur an additional fee per yard and must be contained properly. Please contact our office for more details.
Leaves must be in a 35-gallon brown yard waste bag, a 35-gallon metal container, or a 35-gallon rigid plastic container. A Yard Waste Disposal Sticker must be attached to each bag or container.
Leaf pickup for the month of November is free.
Christmas trees will be collected at no charge for the first two weeks of January.
Residents can dispose of two electronic waste items (including televisions up to 50 pounds) at no additional charge. Please contact Groot and schedule collection at least 24 hours in advance of your designated service day. Additional fees may apply for televisions that exceed 50 pounds.

E-waste
There is now FREE electronics recycling. Residents can dispose of two electronic waste items (including televisions up to 50 pounds) at no additional cost. You will be required to contact Groot and schedule collection at least 24 hours in advance of your designated service day. Televisions over 50 pounds may be charged an additional charge of $50.00 per unit.

Refuse Services
Groot provides each residential customer, serviced at the curb, the choice of a 65 or 95 gallon cart. The cart plus unlimited 35 gallon tied bags or tied personal containers (under 70 pounds) will also be collected.

Groot will provide each residential customer, serviced at the curb, with choice of a 35 or 65 gallon cart designated for recycling. The cart plus unlimited 25 gallon personal containers marked “recycle” will also be collected.
Yard Waste
Groot will provide weekly yard waste collection for all single family residents from April 1st through November 30th each year. Unlimited Kraft paper yard bags or 35 gallon containers (under 50 pounds) will be collected that have a yard waste sticker affixed to each container. Place the containers so the sticker faces the curb. Containers/bags without stickers will not be emptied. Yard waste in plastic bags will not be accepted. You may also contact Groot to obtain a yard waste container decal to further distinguish your yard waste container from your other refuse containers.
