Unlimited Standard Level of Service:

Residents will have unlimited service for standard household waste collected weekly with a 95 gallon refuse cart. Included in this service, Groot will also provide a 65-gallon cart for weekly collection of recyclables. Residents will be allowed to place one bulk item out per week at no additional charge. Additional bulk items put out for collection will require you to call 877-775-1200.

Refuse should be placed out to the curb by 6:00 a.m. on the day of collection. Groot will invoice the residents directly on a quarterly basis.

Container Rental:

Residents who wish to rent an additional garbage cart or an additional recycling cart will need to call Groot to order and pay for the cart rental, which will be billed on a quarterly basis.

A senior rate is available for those residents approved through Naperville Township.

Electronic Waste Collection - "e-waste":

The Illinois Electronic Products Recycling and Reuse Act prohibits any person from allowing or to cause mixing of any of the items listed with municipal waste that is intended for disposal at a landfill.

Groot Industries offers collection of these items directly from your home for an additional fee; however, you must call in advance to schedule a pick-up and make arrangements.

All items collected will be recycled and rendered inoperable. Due to the sensitive nature of some electronic items (computer hard drives or storage devices), we prefer to pick up items from the front, side, or top of drive locations.

Customers also have the option to bring their items directly to drop-off sites throughout the area, most of which are for no charge. Please visit the where and how page of our site and click on your county and then your town to search for area drop–off locations.
